About Kappa Arts

Kappa Arts reaches out, with words and music. Our team creates original compositions, recordings, stage productions, and publications. Our focus is to share meaningful, beautiful, accessible and enjoyable work in a variety of formats.

Kappa’s founder, Kenneth Norman Johnson, brings a lifetime of creative work, a strong vision and inspiration to everything he does. He has been composing, writing, directing, performing, producing and teaching all his life. Ken has worked in film and television, with orchestra, soloists and choir, and as a solo performer. He has over 100 original titles. His delight in providing opportunities and material for performers has been a mainstay of Kappa’s operations. His solo piano recordings of original music sold hundreds of thousands of CDs and continue to be enjoyed around the world.

In collaboration with lyricist Nancy Pincombe, Kappa is pleased to be able to offer many of these beloved songs as published SATB arrangements for choir and for piano and solo voice.
